Sterling started off a very successful early show career in the US. Amongst his outstanding achievements here was being awarded an A.O.M. (Award of Merit) by breeder/judge Jon Kimes at the CWCCA 2009 Nationals from the puppy class. During his show career in S.A., he has won many BOB’s and has even been shown twice in the Junior Handling classes - once as one of the “surprise” dogs and once where his Junior Handler was awarded Best Junior Handler in Show. His best result so far in SA was winning BOB Cardigan and then going on to win RBIS at the WCCT Open Show, 2010.

Aside from being such an eye catching dog, Sterling is a solid dog with a solid temperament. He is also a proven stud who throws wonderful clear blue merles and who has passed on many other virtues to his progeny. Everyone who has gotten a pup from his litter here in SA comments on their personality and temperament. His son Huckles who lives at Beisthemesh, is proof of this.”

Sterling has sired two wonderful litters in Europe, one in Holland at Waggerland and one in Denmark at Havabonde. He has been back home in SA since December 2011.
